It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daniel David Shmidt of Montrose, Michigan, born in Flint, Michigan, who passed away on February 10, 2024, at the age of 54, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Barbara Henry; his brother Christopher Raymond; his uncle Michael Henry; and his father-in-law Robert Perkins. He is survived by: his father David Shmidt (Sue); his wife Michelle Shmidt; his sons, Cole Shmidt and Nolan Shmidt; his sisters, Lisa Shmidt and Jodi Matte (Sean); his stepsister Tammy Williams; his mother-in-law Peggy Perkins; his siblings-in-law, Veronica Lee (Dale), Debra Stone, Brendon Perkins and Tom Papademetriou; and his nieces and nephews, Julia Raymond, Dylan Matte, Amanda Wicker (Jonathon), Maegan Stone, Michael Stone, Brooke Lee and Brandon Lee.
