He is survived by: his daughter Wendy Carrell-Norman (Nicholas); his grandchildren, Austin Carrell and Amber Carrell; his great grandchild Isabella Carrell of Harrison; and his sister Shirley Mathis (Thomas) of Flushing. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
