She was predeceased by: her father Edward Blystone; her husband Theodore Cardinal; her granddaughter Megan Ward; and her sister Janette Spencer. She is survived by: her sons, Doug Cardinal (Debbie) and Kenneth Cardinal; her grandchildren, Kenneth Cardinal and Diana McKay (Jacob); her great grandchildren, Abel McKay, Isabella McKay, Adalynn Cardinal, Abella Cardinal, Gavin Burnside and Justin Cardinal; and her grandchild Many.
