We are sad to announce that on September 4, 2021, at the age of 83, Betty Lou Helfrich of Montrose, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Sholler and Anna "Mildred" Sholler (Dempsey); her son Steven Helfrich; and her siblings, Donna Stone (Fred) and Herbert Sholler.

She is survived by: her husband Jim Helfrich; her children, Jeffrey Helfrich (Paul Pappas) and Karen Valdivia (Dean Gillespie); her grandchildren, Gabriel Valdivia, Adrienne Valdivia, Nathan Valdivia and Steven Helfrich II; and her brother Norman Sholler (Linda). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Memorial donations may be made in her name to the Montrose United Methodist Church.
