He was predeceased by: his parent Betty McKay; and his son Aaron "A. J." Jones Jr.. He is survived by: his son Brendan Jones; his girlfriend Melissa Crawford; his girlfriend's son Matthew Crawford; his parent Betty Jones; his siblings, Joe Jones, Amy Breecher and Anita Jones; and his pet Sierra. He is also survived by Many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family for future designation.
