He was predeceased by: his mother Virginia Bonnau (Silas). He is survived by: his wife Ruth Anne (Snyder); his father Ivan Bonnau Sr. (Mary Lou Bannister); his children, Dawn Bonnau (Chris Pick) of Parchment, Mona Will (Robin Mitchell) of Fort Wayne, April Allen (Greg) of Grand Haven, Stephen Bonnau Jr. of Niles and Richard Bonnau Sr. (Erica) of Plainwell; his siblings, Robin Bonnau, Cheryl Roy (Jeff), Kelly Bell, Shelly Bonnau, Terry Bonnau (Jay) and Ivan Bonnau Jr. (Joanna); and his grandchildren, Derrick, Devon, Graham, Zachary, Celestia, Richard Jr. and Jarl. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Reading Chapel (403 S Main St, Reading, MI 49274).
