It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Elizabeth Penner of Montgomery, Michigan, born in Hillsdale, Michigan, who passed away on November 15, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Newbauer and Elizabeth Newbauer (Balogh); her daughter Jacqueline "Jackie" Penner; her niece Rhonda Newbauer; and her nephew Jeffrey Newbauer.

She is survived by: her husband Clinton "Ed" Penner; and her siblings, Jerry Newbauer (Connie), Roger Newbauer (Patricia), Patricia Hartman (Ron), Mike Newbauer (Johneen), Kathleen Miller (Gary) and Charlie Newbauer (Cheryl).

Memorial contributions are suggested to Maple Lawn Medical Care Facility or the United Cerebral Palsy Association.
