She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Carls and Betty Carls (Seames). She is survived by: her daughter Jessica Ferrier (Tyler) of Montgomery; her siblings, Bob Carls (Nancy) of Dayton, Jeff Carls (Linda) of Lewisburg, TN, Kim Carls (Sandy) of Tecumseh, Mike Carls (Tammy) of Columbiaville and Jill Green (Larry) of Dacula, GA; and her former husband Robert Plessinger.
