It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patrick J. Cavera (Montague, Michigan), born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, who passed away on September 10, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Cavera and Lori Cavera; and his brothers, David and Bob Cavera. He is survived by: his wife Beverly; his sons, Joseph Cavera (Veronica) of Marne, MI and John Cavera (Shelby); his grandchildren, Destinee, Ayanna, Dakota, Jayden, Addyson and Dylan; his brothers, James Cavera (Ann) and Michael Cavera (Lori); and his godson Tom Cavera. He is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.

“I just heard of Pat’s death, and want you to know how sad I am that he lost his life so early. He was a kind, gentle man. We were friends’ in grade and high school. I missed him at the last re-Union and never heard of his passing. I am sure he is at peace and with the Lord, and I am sorry for all of you left behind. Prayers today for your family.
