He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicholas Charles Bono and Frances Lilli Bono (Sheringer); and his sister Marcia Kyburz. He is survived by: his wife Sharon L. Bono (Simpson); his children, Chad and Mindy Johnson (Derek); his grandchildren, Lillian, Case, Nolan and Cailyn; his sister Cindy Mahan (Joe); his siblings-in-law, Wesley Simpson (Amy), Carl Simpson (Linda), Marlene Jones (Ron) and Christine Ward; and his nieces and nephews, Tim Kyburz (Lynn), Tracy Johnston, Jason Locke (Darcy), Callie Mahan (Bryan), Haleigh Gagnon (Sam) and Brayden Locke (Alivia).
