He was predeceased by: his parents, John Roodvoets and Sarah Roodvoets (VanDyke); and his siblings, Roger, William and Ruth Stewart.
He is survived by: his children, Scott Roodvoets (Liz Witzler), Diane Hughes, Brenda Trefon (Pete) and Lisa Huckins (Glenn); his grandchildren, Mitchell (Chelsea), Audrey, Bailey, Fiona, Aidan, Haley (Connor), Summer, Kimberly, Kelly, Jake and Allison; his great grandchildren, Carter, Emmett, Eli and Greyson; his sister Sarah Meyer (Ken); and his friends, Lori Sheehan and Joyce Brownell.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Ferry Memorial Reformed Church (8637 Old Channel Trail, Montague, MI 49437).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Pound Buddies of Muskegon, the Chemours Environmental Impact Committee, Ferry Memorial Reformed Church, or the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
