With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wintford Edkar Brooks of Monroe, Michigan, born in Tazewell, Tennessee, who passed away on December 27, 2023 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ed Brooks and Gracie Brooks (Gulley); his son Teddy Brooks; and his siblings, Blanche Earl, Mary "Etta" Goins and Clarence "Elmer" Brooks.
He is survived by: his sons, Wintford E. Brooks Jr. and Steven Brooks (Karen); and his grandchildren, Stephanie Wade (Zachary), Steven Brooks Junior, Kevin Brooks, Samantha Brooks and Felicia Brooks. He is also survived by sixteen great-grandchildren.
