He was predeceased by: his children, William Major, Constance Major and Mark Major; his siblings, Lila Osment and Thomas Major; and his former wife Patricia Major (Weiner).
He is survived by: his children, Sandra Major, Cynthia DeLorenzo (Joe), Nicholas Major (Serena) and Jennifer Carter (Bobby); and his daughter-in-law Carol Major (Nutt). He is also survived by twenty grandchildren; forty-six great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.
