He was predeceased by: his parents, A. Raymond Olson and Catherine Olson of Ishpeming Michigan; his brother Raymond Olson; and his grandson Kevin Michael Schlosser. He is survived by: his wife Gunhild Carlson; his daughters, Nancy Schlosser (Kevin), Kathryn Olson, Tamela Moore (Rusty), Karen Morgan (Kevin) and Krista Moran (Richard) of Woodstock, GA; his grandchildren, Kyle, Kurt Schlosser, Taylor Duker, Nicole Morgan, Erich, Meghan Moran, Garrett, Mitchell and Elliott Moore; and his great grandchildren, Ayden Duker and Charlie Schlosser.
In lieu of flowers the family encourages memorial donations to Lewiston Michigan VFW and American Legion and Ishpeming Ski Hall of Fame, of which he was a member.
