He is survived by: his children, Robert Coury (Jennifer) of Monroe, Lee-Anne Brown (Alan) of Monroe and Ronald Coury (Jennifer) of Monroe; his grandchildren, Alaric Coury (Taylor), Jacob Schmidt (Cheyenne), Jeremiah Schmidt (Kendall), Sebastian Coury, Kaylee MacDonald, Jesse Schmidt (Jennifer), Jared Schmidt (Allysen), Aiden Coury and Anna Coury; and his great grandchildren, Sawyer, Sophia, Izabella, Oaklynn, Aida, Harper, Remington, Marisa, Liam, Harlan, Kaiser, Roy and Jeremiah Junior.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Rupp Funeral Home (2345 S Custer Rd, Monroe, MI 48161). The lying in state was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (323 Scott St, Monroe, MI 48161). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
