He was predeceased by: his father John DeBruyne (Holmes); his son Thomas DeBruyne Jr.; his sister Yvonne Schaub; and his niece Jennifer DeBruyne. He is survived by: his wife Elena DeBruyne; his son Dail DeBruyne (Jessica Robison); his grandchildren, Alyssa Marie and Thomas James DeBruyne; and his brothers, John DeBruyne (Tonia) and Ronald DeBruyne (Stacey). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
