He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Louis Laboe, Sr. and Theresa June Laboe (Engel); his brother Robert "Bob" Laboe Jr.; and his brothers-in-law, Mark Whitman, Sr. and Robert "Bob" Tremonti.
He is survived by: his children, Melisa Moss Sr. (Eric) of Toledo, Ohio, Steven M. Laboe II (Racquel) of Perrysburg and Shawn West of Monroe, Michigan; his siblings, Linda Thomason of LaSalle, Kathy Whitman of Monroe, Laurie Tremonti of Monroe, Michigan and Larry Laboe of Newport, Michigan; and his grandchildren, AhnaLyce Myrick-Ball (Elliot), Amillia Ball, Avery Ball Jr., Loyalty Jones, Adonis Moss, Dani Moss and Alonzo Laboe. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
