She was predeceased by: her parents, John Litten and Luella Litten; her husband Cyril Swisher; her son Richard Petros; and her brother Tom Litten.

She is survived by: her children, Deborah Schumacher and Randall Petros; her grandchildren, David Petros (Lyndsay), Bobbie Burek (Billy), Rachel Travis, Cori Zueski (Jonathan) and Emily Forward (Jason); and her great grandchildren, Ashley, Ari, Allyson, Avery, Carson, Emma, Kole, Lincoln and Esmay.

Visitation was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Allore Chapel - Martenson Family (203 E Elm Ave, Monroe, MI 48162). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
