He was predeceased by: his parents, Milivoj "Mike" Knezevich and Mary Knezevich (Utczai); his daughter Rose Marie Nunn; and his siblings, Bosko, Yaddy, Pio "Paul" Knezevich, Velinka Tomich, Zorka Conner, Milka "Mildred" Holtz, Louise Ford, Anka "Annie" Borjanovic and Nada Husband.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Kovenich; and his children, Kathy Bales (Mike) of Gig Harbor, WA and Steven Knezevich (Lori) of St. Clair Shores, MI. He is also survived by five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
