She was predeceased by: her siblings, Kenneth Ziegler, Austin Ziegler, Robert Ziegler, Theresa McMullen, Rosemary Jacobs and Shirley Jacobs; and her siblings-in-law, Phil Ameye, Dean Jacobs, James McMullen, Joyce Ziegler and Linda Ziegler.
She is survived by: her husband William J. Brown; her children, James Brown (Jennifer) and Susan Fields; her grandchildren, Jessica Pontious (Patrick), Whitney Fields, Zachary Fields and Cole Everhart (Susan); her great grandchildren, Killian and Jason Pontious; and her siblings, Carol Ameye and Richard Ziegler (Sharon).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Merkle Funeral Home North (2442 N Monroe St, Monroe, MI 48162). A rosary was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the same location. The lying in state was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Michael the Archangel Church (502 W Front St, Monroe, MI 48161). A Mass was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
