She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles McGowan and Helen McGowan (Livernois); her husband Jay Finley; her son Robert Reed Finley; her grandson Jeremy Bruce; her great grandchild Ronnie Urbanczyk; her siblings, Charles McGowan, Patricia Stone and Margaret "Betty" Raymond; her stepfather Cornelius Grodi; and her son-in-law John Beavers.
She is survived by: her children, Ronald Finley (Jan) of Monroe, Judy Johnson (Henry) of LaSalle, Kathaleen Bruce (David) of Erie and Margaret Beavers of Monroe. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren, and 11 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 14th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, October 15th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Rupp Funeral Home (2345 S Custer Rd, Monroe, MI 48161). A rosary was held on Tuesday, October 15th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. The lying in state will be held on Wednesday, October 16th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church (502 W Front St, Monroe, MI 48161). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
