He was predeceased by: his parents, Ferdinand Meyer and Augusta Meyer (Panning); and his son Dale Meyer. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Ann Meyer (Pfund); his children, Randy Meyer (Melinda), Terry Meyer (Fran), Denise Meyer and Ron Meyer (Jackie); his grandchildren, Heather, Kortney, Josh, Kalin, Amanda, Alyssa, Nicolas, Zachary and Nolan; and his great grandchildren, Isla, Nia, Colton, Kalvin, Khloe, Sophia, Declan, Addison and Holden.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Dale Meyer Memorial Endowment Fund.
