He was predeceased by: his wife Cynthia Gillenkirk; and his sister Ruth Headrick. He is survived by: his children, Jeff Gillenkirk, Craig Gillenkirk (Kristine), Mike Armstrong, Alice O'Dell and Melissa Bannett; and his siblings, Richard Gillenkirk (Jean), Roberta Kahlbaum and Donna Zeigler. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Rupp Funeral Home (2345 S Custer Rd, Monroe, MI 48161). A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM and at 12:00 PM.
