She was predeceased by: her parents, Godfrey "Jim" Venia and Leota Venia (Keeler); her brother Richard Venia; and her close friend Pat Johnson. She is survived by: her husband Greg Jarrait of Monroe; her children, Christopher Jarrait (Patti) of Monroe, Ross Jarrait (Marcie) of Monroe, Mark Jarrait (Sue) of Monroe and Leigh Ann Parrack of Monroe; her sister Ann Duffy of Bedford; her sister-in-law Sally Venia of Monroe; her grandchildren, Jessica, Trevor, Samantha, Hayley, Collin, Alec, Aleigha and Liliana; and her great grandchildren, Finnegan, Ailbe, Brigid and Wyatt.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Rupp Funeral Home (2345 S Custer Rd, Monroe, MI 48161). A rosary was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. The lying in state was held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 9:30 AM at the St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church (502 W Front St, Monroe, MI 48161). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
