He was predeceased by: his parents, Chole Brooks and Lassie Rebecca Brooks (Miles); his wife Clara Helen "Susie" Sutton; his brothers, Bill and Wayne Brooks; and his siblings-in-law, Gerald Williams, Wanda Brooks and Jean Brooks.
He is survived by: his daughters, Rebecca L. Poupard (Ron) of Monroe, Beverly S. Estep (Chuck) of Lambertville and Amy R. Brooks (Jon Maltman) of Chantilly; his grandchildren, Benjamin Estep, Lisa and Brittany LePage; and his siblings, Herb Brooks (Coleen) of Adrian, MI, Lee Williams of Bowling Green, KY and Kyle Brooks of Greeneville, TN. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
