He was predeceased by: his sister Michelle Carpenter; and his grandson Weston Verburg. He is survived by: his parents, Bill and Mary; his wife Carol (Sutton); his daughters, Valerie Whaley (Rocky), Renee DuVall (Jon) and Liz Verburg (Jon); his brother Chris Boden (Luz); and his grandchildren, Alicia (Kyle), Ethan, Kiley, Evan, Jeraca, Ashton, Gavin and Bentley.
