He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim Sweeney and Sue Sweeney (Wensinger); and his sister Sheryl Sweeney-Beale. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Sweeney; his children, Jenny Fitzpatrick (Patrick) and Jackie Cox (Robert); his grandchildren, Jessica Lashley, Autumn Lashley, Shannon Cox and Lucas Cox; and his siblings, Johnny Sweeney and Laurie Nunez.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Rupp Funeral Home (2345 S Custer Rd, Monroe, MI 48161). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
