The passing of Michael J. Vallieres of Monroe, Michigan, born in London, Ontario leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on November 15, 2024 at the age of 79. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph E. Vallieres and Marjorie T. Vallieres (Callahan); and his sister Anne Marie. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Vallieres of Monroe; his children, Diane Pitts of Haslett, Joseph Vallieres (Tanya) of Novi and Danielle Cole (Brett) of Monroe; and his grandchildren, Benjamin, Jocelyn, Isabella, Morgynn, Matthew, Cameron and Taylor.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bacarella Funeral Home, Inc. (1201 S Telegraph Rd, Monroe, MI 48161). A rosary will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the same location. The lying in state will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Divine Grace Parish (9270 Joseph St, Maybee, MI 48159). A Mass will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Divine Grace Parish - St. Joseph (9270 Joseph St, Maybee, MI 48159).
In lieu of flowers, Michael asked that donations be made to VFW Post 1138, Monroe, DAV, IHM Sisters Retirement Fund or Veteran Service Dogs.
