He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward J. McCormick and Margaret C. McCormick (Grant); his brother E. J. McCormick, Jr.; his nephew E. J. McCormick, III; and his brother-in-law Ron LaBeau.
He is survived by: his wife Gail Chesney; his sisters, Pam LaBeau of Monroe, Mickey Davies (Jim) of Grand Rapids and Katie Bolhuis (Steve) of Muskegon; his siblings-in-law, Pat McCormick of Monroe and Greg Chesney (Cindy) of Monroe; and his pet Izzo. He is also survived by 2 uncles, 14 nieces and nephews, 35 great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to, the soon to be established, Michael and Gail McCormick Scholarship Fund at SMCC.
