He is survived by: his wife Sharon; his children, Renee Hunter (Alex "Sandy") of Monroe and Marvin LaPrad, II (Monique); his siblings, Janice Beaudry of Grand Rapids, MI, Arthur LaPrad of Flat Rock, MI, Barbara Jennings of Monroe, MI, David LaPrad (Rose) of Hixon, TN and Paul LaPrad (Joyce) of Monroe, MI; his grandchildren, A. J. Hunter (Sarah), Megan Hunter, Marvin LaPrad, III (Alisha), Joshua LaPrad (Shelbie) and Brittany LaPrad; and his great grandchildren, Claire, Marvin IV, Colton, Stephen, Taylor, Liam, Adeline, Maddison, Haley and Emilia.

For anyone wanting to make a donation in memory of Marv, the family suggests supporting St. Jude Children's Hospital.

“My deepest sympathy to the LaPrad family. My name is Gary Groves. As a young child I lived just down the road from Ed LaPrad on South Stoney Creek Road. My brother Dave and I would always help out on your farm when needed. We knew all the LaPrad kids including Marv. Dianne and Cindy used to babysit us.
