He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Boylan and Irene Boylan (LaFaut); his wife Mary Kathleen Green; his son Patrick Boylan; his granddaughter Kaitlyn; and his siblings, Richard Boylan, Kathleen McCleod and Patricia Linkletter.

He is survived by: his children, Kenneth Boylan (Scarlett), Lorna Ansel (Michael), Karen Boylan, Douglas Boylan and Karla Evans (David); his daughter-in-law Jane Boylan; and his sisters, Agnes McCarthy and Noreen Hardman. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren and 9 great-great grandchildren.

Memorial contribution in honor of Leo may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Alzheimer's Association.
