He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellis Townley and Patsy Townley (Cannon); and his sister Joyce Townley. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Varney of Newport; his children, Amber Townley (Nathan Bowman) of Newport and Logan Townley of Newport; his brothers, Michael and Robert "Bobby" Townley; and his grandchildren, Keaghan Townley and Piper DeBerry.
