Kay I. Thoma Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kay I. Thoma of Monroe, Michigan, who passed away on April 17, 2025 at the age of 86. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Kay I. Thoma to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Salvatore "Sam" Sineni and Jeanne Sineni (Wagar); her husband Douglas W. Thoma; and her brothers-in-law, Richard Aiken and Gary Thoma.
She is survived by: her children, Tani Thoma of Monroe and Todd Thoma (Christina) of Clarkston, MI; her sisters, Nancy Aiken of Canton, MI and Norene Mason (Ben) of Monroe; and her grandson Joshua Thoma.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bacarella Funeral Home, Inc. (1201 S Telegraph Rd, Monroe, MI 48161). A prayer will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. The lying in state will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church (511 S Monroe St, Monroe, MI 48161). A Mass will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at the St. Joseph Cemetery (909 N Monroe St, Monroe, MI 48162).
