She was predeceased by: her parents, Wellington Marx and Loretta Marx (Quell); her son-in-law Eugene Butler; her brother-in-law William Conlisk; her great grandchild Hailey Gould; and her niece Karen Conlisk.
She is survived by: her children, David Groves (Jan) of Monroe, Gary Groves of Toledo, OH, Linda Zeitz (Mark) of Monroe, Marilyn Butler of Monroe and Christine Bastien (Dale) of Monroe; her sister Sally Conlisk of Monroe; and her niece Terri Eighmey (Darryl) of Harbor Springs, MI. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests supporting St. Michael Catholic Church or the Humane Society of Monroe County.
