He was predeceased by: his parents, John Royston and Wannetta Royston; his first-born Debbie; his daughter Sheree Gibbs; his granddaughter Michelle Steveson; and his son-in-law Mike Baker.
He is survived by: his pet Farm; his wife Julia; his brother-in-law Rick Macek (Cheryl); his nephew John Royston (Ann-Drea); his niece Dr. Jennifer Royston-Motyka (Ronald); his grandson Leo Motyka (Bonnie); his daughter Denise Baker; his grandsons, Douglas Baker (Lara), David Baker (Jenna), Leon Gibbs (Robin) and John Gibbs (Amber); and his sons-in-law, Jack Gibbs and Chris Steveson. He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 17th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Allore Chapel - Martenson Family (203 E Elm Ave, Monroe, MI 48162). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 17th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
Donations in John's memory may be made to The American Heart Association or The Humane Society of Monroe County.
