We bid farewell to Joan G. Fisher of Monroe, Michigan, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 27, 2024 at the age of 81. Joan touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Delton Dennis and Nadine Dennis (Frost); her husband Julius E. Fisher of Anne's Catholic Church; and her brother Daniel Bolster. She is survived by: her children, Julius Fisher, Jr. (Lori) of Monroe, Keith Fisher of Monroe and Tara Roe (Kendan Myers) of Ida, MI; her brothers, James Dennis (Cheri) of Monroe and Larry Dennis (Pam) of Ida; and her grandchildren, Zach Fisher (Sara), Bailey Rowe, Hannah Southerland (Adam), Bryan Fisher (Johanna), Rocco Roe and Piper Roe. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 1st 2024 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bacarella Funeral Home, Inc. (1201 S Telegraph Rd, Monroe, MI 48161). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
The family encourages memorial donations be made to Monroe Missionary Baptist Church or the Parkinson's Foundation.
