He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerry Cosby and Doxie Cosby (Davis); his son Jack LaMonte "Monte" Cosby; and his siblings, Charley Cosby, Ernest Cosby, Bennie Cosby, James Cosby, Howard Cosby, Clyde Cosby, Glessie Jewell, Mollie Ferguson, Ruby Essary and Phyllis Allen.
He is survived by: his wife Carole Pulcheon; his daughters, Janelle Gonyea (Dave) of Rochester, MN, Valerie Fuson (Marty) of Monroe and Shelly Corrin (Derek) of Monroe; his siblings, Elmer Cosby of Knoxville, TN, Pete Cosby (Joan) of Shawanee, TN, Marie Josephine Massengill (John) of Flat Rock and Sue Allen of Knoxville, TN; his grandchildren, Jack Reece Cosby (Tori), Mikail Gonyea (Niraali Lad), Corey Fuson, Rachael Payne (Kevin), Emerson "Jack" Gonyea (Jenna), Liam Gonyea, Carley Snyder (Jeremy), Reed Corrin and Sydney Corrin; and his great grandchildren, McKenzi Cosby and Jack Wyatt Cosby. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; countless friends.
