She was predeceased by: her parents, Manuel Hoskins and Irine Hoskins (Short); her son George William Allen Jr.; and her siblings, Manuel Hoskins Jr., Robert Hoskins and Jessie Miller.
She is survived by: her former husband George Allen of Indianapolis, Indiana.; her husband Willie Johnson; her children, Katherine James (Elliott) of Monroe, Denise Gray (Donald) of Monroe, Myrna White of Monroe, David Johnson (Sonja) of Monroe and Willie Johnson Jr. of Monroe; and her siblings, Fred Hoskins (Hildie) of Tacoma, Washington, Leola Jett (Lymon) of Monroe, Wanda Montague of Monroe and Bernice Bates of Ypsilanti, Michigan. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was currently in the battle of her life as she fought Alzheimer's.
