He is survived by: his wife Kristin Kane (Whitmer) of Monroe; his children, Jeffrey Kane (Lisa) of Monroe, Peter Kane (Kristin) of Monroe, Noah Kane of Monroe, Megan and Riley Kane of Monroe; his stepsons, Jacob Heck (Amanda Kelmer) of Monroe and Justin Heck (Jessica) of Temperance; his grandchildren, Justin Kane, Kennedi Kane, Colin Kane and McKenzie Kane; his great grandchild Kylo Duffin; and his siblings, Donald Kane (Rose) of Holly and Mary Jo Windels of Monroe.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Humane Society of Monroe County and the City of Monroe River Cleanup Fund.
