He was predeceased by: his father Ervin Schilling; and his niece Mary Grace Tibai. He is survived by: his mother Virginia Schilling (Hubbard); and his siblings, David (Janet), Steven (Lila), Timothy Schilling (Margaret) and Susan Tibai (Mark). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces/nephews, great-great nieces/nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or Elara Caring Hospice in honor of Doug's memorial wishes.
