She was predeceased by: her husband Raymond Thomas Johnson; her brother George Vagt (Ruth); and her daughter Marilyn Masserant. She is survived by: her children, Gerald Johnson (Ellen) of Virginia, Carolyn Clark (Chris) of Monroe and Loralyn Campbell (Shawn) of Manitou Beach, Michigan; her son-in-law Brian Masserant; and her grandchildren, Shane Clark, Ryan Clark, Emily Johnson (Chris), Olivia Allston (Patrick), Brenden Campbell (Haleigh), Alyssa Gonzales (Justice) and Stacy Masserant. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
A reception will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Merkle Funeral Home North (2442 N Monroe St, Monroe, MI 48162). The lying in state will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Zion Lutheran Church (186 Cole Rd, Monroe, MI 48162).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Zion Lutheran Church or the American Heart Association.
