She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Swartz and Ruth Swartz; her husband Marvin Hicks Sr. of Paul's United Methodist Church; her brothers, David Swartz, Dennis Swartz and Douglas Swartz; and her children, William and Megan Hicks.
She is survived by: her children, Marvin Hicks Jr. (Dawn) and Paula Fisk (Doug). She is also survived by seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Memorials in her honor are suggested to Make-A-Wish Foundation.
