Dennis C. Poet Sr. Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dennis C. Poet Sr. of Monroe, Michigan, born in Romulus, Michigan, who passed away on September 11, 2023 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Poet and Janette Poet Murphy; his son Richard Poet; and his brother Lawrence Poet. He is survived by: his wife Denise Poet; his children, Dennis Poet Jr., Danielle Mungar (Aaron), David LaBell and Erika Hunt (Johnny); his siblings, Brenda Raney (Tom), Mary Gerval (Jim) and Bobby Poet; and his daughter-in-law Melissa Stanley. He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to the Wounded Warrior Project.
