He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren Zarend and Mary Caroline Zarend. He is survived by: his wife Mary Zarend of Newport; his brother Paul Zarend of Newport; his nieces, Kacie and Krista Zarend; and his great-nephew Jaxson Zarend.
A reception will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Merkle Funeral Service (2442 N Monroe St, Monroe, MI 48162). A burial will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Roselawn Memorial Park (13200 S Dixie Hwy, La Salle, MI 48145).
