It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daniel Douglas Stone of Monroe, Michigan, who passed away on August 1, 2024, at the age of 35, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandmothers, Audra and Betty Stone (Noble); his stepgrandfather George "Pip" Wallace; his stepbrother William "Billy" Carpenter; and his uncles, Dennis Stone and David Burnette.
He is survived by: his parents, Daniel Dean Stone (Dana) and Bonnie Marie Aspden of Monroe; his grandparents, Richard McDonald of Laredo, Texas and Jeanette "Mim" Wallace of Monroe, Michigan; his aunts and uncles, John Stone (Laura) of Monroe, Georgia VanWassenhova of Newport, Diana Powell of Sylvania, Norma Miller (Mike) of Largo, Janice Valerio (Tony) of Monroe, Loretta Burnette of Winterville, Andy Parker (Helga) of Devils Lake and Lonnie McDonald of Monroe; his stepbrother James Carpenter (Gina); his nieces and nephews, Thomas, Kalyne, Renee, Cassie, Billie and Dakota; and his close friend Melissa Baltrip.
At his passing, Daniel gave the Gift of Life to several others through organ and tissue donation.
