He was predeceased by: his parents, James O. Friar and Laura M. Friar (Rice); and his siblings, James Friar, Charles Brooks, Bessie Berry and Florence Bussell.
He is survived by: his wife Beatrice A. Burke; his children, Michael T. Friar (Heather) of Perrysburg, OH, Clifford E. Friar, Brian Friar (Laura) of Monroe, Vickie Rago (John) of Holiday, FL, Deborah Dinger (David) of Akron, OH, Jeanie Friar of Colorado Springs, CO and Robert Kraljevich of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; and his brother Hubert Friar (Joy) of Homestead, FL. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.
