He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim Fields and Margaret Fields (Miller); his siblings, Joel, Peggy, Yvonne, Deloris, Virgil, Harry and Francis; his father-in-law Carl; his sister-in-law Priscilla Augusta; and his son-in-law Andy Letasse.
He is survived by: his wife Carlene; his daughters, Kim Letasse, Jill Fields and Jimma Johnson (Justin); his grandchildren, Drew, Taylor Letasse, Dayne Ausmus, Tatumn, Gracyn Wener, Mara, Toryn, Lukas and Presley Johnson; his great grandchildren, River Letasse and Charlie Carstensen; his sister Barbara; and his siblings-in-law, Candy and Gary. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Kidney Foundation or the American Diabetes Assoc.
