With solemn reverence, we commemorate Burlin Worley of Monroe, Michigan, born in Marshall, North Carolina, whose life came to an end on October 25, 2024 at the age of 91, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Vestal Worley and Graten Worley (Lumsford); his daughter Julie; and his brothers, Nolan and Earlin.
He is survived by: his wife Delores Ann Cardwell; his children, John Worley (Barbara) of Monroe, Gerald Worley (Laura) of Monroe and Alicia Haynes (Ed) of Port St; his sister Shelia Hartman (Alan) of Winston Salem, NC; and his grandchildren, Andrew, Adam, Aaron, Morgan, Nicholas, Cody and Tiffany. He is also survived by thirteen great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bacarella Funeral Home, Inc. (1201 S Telegraph Rd, Monroe, MI 48161). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the same location. A committal service was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Roselawn Memorial Park (13200 S Dixie Hwy, La Salle, MI 48145).
Memorial contributions in Burlin's memory are suggested to Heritage Baptist Church.
