He was predeceased by: his parents, William P. Howard Sr. and Phoebe Howard (Hensley); his siblings, Arthur, Robert, Orville, Wesley, Beatrice, Harold, Donald, Lawrence and Alfred; and his granddaughter Alexis Jade DeMay.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Howard of Monroe; his children, Kimberly Palys (Tony) of Monroe, Billy Howard (Shannon) of LaSalle and Tina DeMay (Justin) of LaSalle; his siblings, Enos Howard (Alice) of LaSalle, Lola Newton of Monroe, Carmen Smith (Vernon) of Nicholasville, Carol Lumpp (Herbert) of Jasper and Patty Smith of Manteno, Illinois; and his grandchildren, Trevor Palys, Alison Burke-Howard, Madison DeMay and Tyler DeMay. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
