She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar H. Lupke and Beatrice Thelma Lupke (Barton); her spouse Gerald R. Shelly; her daughter Pamela Bowen; her siblings, Richard Lupke and Mary Ann Toburen; her nephew Dennis Toburen; and her nieces, Laura Lee Pommaville and Judith Robinson.
She is survived by: her daughter Roxanne Martensen (Thomas) of Monroe; her son-in-law Tom Bowen of Southgate; her grandchildren, Brian T. Martensen (Karen), Bridget Huss (Joseph), Susan Zarenski, Patricia Johnson (Scott), Heather Woelkers (Eric) and Thomas Bowen (Crystal); her nieces and nephews, Richard Toburen, Bruce Toburen, Sandra Wagenhauser and Christine Kerr; and her sister-in-law Mary L. Lupke.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Trinity Lutheran Church or Wellspring Lutheran Services.
